This cushioned, single serving cake is made with velvety treat margarine spread. Made of speculoos treats, a crunchy European spiced scone treat, the spread is like nutty spread aside from seasoned with speculoos treats.
There are a few variants accessible in the US including a well known rendition made by Trade Joe's, however I'm inclined toward the first Biscoff spread.
This cake turns out fleecy, damp, tasting of caramel and flavors. I adore the caramel dark colored shade of the spread and how it stays such a wonderful shade of darker in the last cake form also.
I will take note of, the morsel of this cake is looser than a portion of my other mug cakes. Truly there is an approach to fix it up, yet it involes adding more calories to the cake, and treat spread isn't actually eat less carbs nourishment, so I would not like to late it with this cake. It's certainly not a cake you can dump out of your mug to eat. It's best eaten in the mug, with a spoon. Appreciate!

4 Ingredient Cookie Butter Mug Cake. This single serving microwave cake is ready in 5 minutes! This cake comes out fluffy, moist, tasting of caramel and spices.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup cookie butter spread
- 4 tbsp nonfat milk
- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Directions:
- In a large, microwave-safe mug, add all ingredients in the order listed. Mix with a small whisk until batter is smooth and no flour lumps remain. Because of the spread, this batter will be a little stiff to mix, so you'll need to use a little more strength than some of my other mug cakes.
- Cook in the microwave for about 1 minute and 20 seconds or until cake is cooked. The cake will initially rise while cooking and will deflate slightly once it is removed from the microwave. Let cake cool a few minutes before eating.
